Floor level is part of the access assessment, alongside lift suitability, carrying distance and the size of the contents. Include these details at the start so they can be considered in your quote.
Send photos and measurements of the item and the narrowest points on its route out. Mention whether it was assembled inside the flat. Discuss any dismantling or special handling before booking.
Show the flat’s front door, hallway, stair turns, landings and shared entrance. If there is a lift, include its doorway and interior. A street photo can help show the route to a possible loading position.
Yes. You can request a partial clearance. Make a clear list of the items to remove and identify the furniture and belongings that should remain, particularly in shared storage spaces.
